Research and development

Because allergens are at the heart of the profession of Stallergenes, the R&D teams are specialized in immunology. These teams have the objective of understanding the fundamental immune mechanisms concerning allergies, the study of desensitization mechanisms and the in-depth knowledge of the structure of allergens.

Stallergenes is one of the most active biopharmaceutical companies specialized in the allergy field in terms of clinical studies. These large-scale, international studies are initiated from the Proof of concept stage up to phase IV by teams in the medical department.

The product development department ensures implementation of the company's development plans. To this end, it oversees the activities of pre-clinical, analytical and pharmaceutical development within its structure, while the Programmes unit coordinates these activities with the company's other departments (scientific, regulatory, quality, etc.).

The workforce dedicated to scientific and medical activities has almost doubled in 3 years and currently represents 16% of the workforce
